A Journey Inspired by Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam

Prof. Ganesh’s journey in the world of Patent and GI began over 21 years ago, fueled by the immense encouragement he received from the esteemed former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, back in 2003. His support inspired Prof. Ganesh to immediately pursue becoming a GI agent, even at a time when the GI Act was relatively new. It was then that he made the profound decision to devote his life to safeguarding the intellectual property rights of these communities.

With this encouragement, he is committed to pushing forward, utilizing GI to unlock the full socioeconomic potential of India. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the intellectual property landscape and ensure the prosperity and well-being of the communities involved in GI production.
